What we're about
The LVWG is a friendly group of local writers - some published, some not - who get together every month (the third Thursday) to offer help, advice, and camaraderie. Our goal is simple: to help our members improve their craftsmanship and achieve their publishing objectives.

Critique Participation and Courtesy Rules
Depending on the number of participants, each presenter can have 5 – 7 minutes to read their piece.
Once the presenter is done reading, each of us will take two minutes or so to give our critique.
Critiques should begin with reviewing the strong points of the writing. Understanding where our work shines not only bolsters confidence, it also helps us build our strengths.
Let writers know how and where their work could be stronger. Please be courteous. This is a time to help our friends become even more amazing writers.
Please end your critique on an up note. Remember, it takes a lot of courage to put our creative efforts out there, so showing your support for fellow writers is always a good thing.
