Hike to Wilson's Pimple loop

What to Expect:
The Wilsons Pimple Loop is located in the Red Rock Conservation Area. This is a low-moderate 5 mile hike with a total elevation gain of 758ft and is one of my favorites because of the variations in soil, plants, and the inclusion of a creek. There is so much to see!

The trail begins at Middle Oak Creek and loops around Wilson’s Pimple. It features some rocky terrain at the beginning of the trail, so proper footwear with ankle protection is a must. The hike to the top of the Pimple is a bit steep, but the views are beautiful. Event time relates to the actual hike as there will be no carpool for this event.

We will meet at the Middle Oak Creek Trailhead parking area located off of HWY 159.Middle Oak Creek Trailhead
What to Bring:

• At least 2L of water
• Sunscreen/hat
• Proper footgear
• Hiking poles if desired for rocky terrain and climb

EVENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By RSVP’ing to this event and signing this waiver and release of liability, I acknowledge that I voluntarily choose to participate in the above-named event (the “Las Vegas Active Adults 40+ MeetUp Group). I understand that participation may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activity, equipment use, travel, weather conditions, and other unforeseen hazards.

1. Assumption of Risk:
I am voluntarily participating in the Event and assume all risks associated with my participation, including but not limited to injury, illness, property damage, or death.

2. Release of Liability:
I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Las Vegas Active Adults 40+ Meetup Group, its directors, organizers, co-hosts, officers, employees, agents, sponsors, partners, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained while participating in or traveling to/from the Event.

3. Medical Treatment:
I authorize the Organizer to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if needed. I understand that I am responsible for all medical costs incurred.

4. Media Release:
I grant the Organizer the right to take and use photographs, video, and audio recordings of me for promotional, educational, or informational purposes in any medium, without compensation.

5. Compliance with Rules:
I agree to comply with all Event rules, regulations, and instructions from event staff. I understand that failure to follow rules may result in removal from the Event without refund.

6. Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer and all released parties from any claims brought against them as a result of my actions or omissions during the Event.

7. COVID-19 and Communicable Diseases:
I acknowledge the risk of exposure to COVID-19 or other illnesses and voluntarily assume such risk. I agree to follow all health and safety protocols in place for the Event.
