BEAT THE HEAT! 2026 - Oxnard & Harbor Village Ride (125cc+ RECOMMENDED)

It's starting to get hot. Plain and simple.
Quite honestly, most of our normal routes would be miserable to ride right now. So this time of year we pull out our "Beat the Heat" rides. Names like Zuma and Malibu and Palisades creep into these ride descriptions.

One of our favorites is Oxnard and it has been a great ride each visit over the last few years to Harbor Village, so how about we do it again!

Meet, Greet, and Mingle @ 8:30 - 9 AM -> KSU @ ~9:15 AM

We will gather at one of our usual start-up points, Vons at PCH and Sunset. From there, we'll head up the coast and turn onto Kanan Road. From there, North to Thousand Oaks and Santa Rosa Rd. Pleasant Valley Road and 5th street will get us to our destination. Once there, you'll have almost two hours to eat lunch, peruse the many shops, take in the scenery and perhaps grab an ice cream. If you've never been, Harbor village is a must-see destination in So Cal.

After we've all been fed, shopped, treated, and otherwise satisfied, we're just gonna make a lazy ride home on Portrero Rd and Mulholland. But feel free to make your way home as you see fit after lunch. We're just adding this in for anyone not familiar with the way home.

Except for parts of Mulholland, this is a really easy-going ride available to all riders and all skill levels. However, we will be riding at speeds of 55 mph, so it is appropriate for 125cc+ machines.

(Note - the route shows the ride ends back at Sunset & PCH, but it will be dispersing well beforehand)

Restrictions & Advisements: We will be cruising at 55 MPH in many areas, which limits the ride to 125cc+ scooters. This route is suitable for all riders.

Please only RSVP +1 for additional riders, not passengers.

Please show up with a full gas tank, as always, and a scooter in good running condition. :)
