34th Annual, International Ride to Work - day! 2025

Details
Tuesday is the 34th Annual, International Ride to Work - day!
Show the world that motorcycles and scooters are great for everyday transportation! On Ride to Work Day, ride your motorcycle or scooter to commute, shop/run errands, or simply to enjoy the experience.
So ride your scooter or motorcycle to demonstrate:
- The number of scooter riders to the general public and to politicians.
- That scooter riders are from all occupations and all walks of life (yeah we're not all bad a$$ biker types . . . !)
- That scooter riders can reduce traffic and parking congestion
- That scooters are for transportation as well as recreation.
The 34th Annual, International/Worldwide Ride to Work Day is expected to be one of the largest ever, according to the Ride to Work website :(http://www.ridetowork.org/), the non-profit organization that coordinates this annual event. Studies have shown that across equal distances, commuting scooterists can reach their destinations more quickly, scooters consume fewer resources per person per mile, and they take up less space on roads. Ride to Work Day began in July 1992; since that time, the number of motorcycles and scooters in the U.S. has grown to more than 8 million, but only about 200,000 of those are used for everyday commuting. On Ride to Work Day, the number of riders taking these machines to work grows to an estimated 1 million.
Also, don't forget to take a picture of your scooter parked in front of your work and share it in the photos for this ride. Lastly, please be extra cautious if you're not used to commuting on a bike (or skip it if you're not comfortable at all).
I'll be riding on Tuesday; hope to see you on the road!
