L.A. SMUG FEB 2011 Meeting - How to get started shooting video with your DSLR

Details
The Bui Brothers will show you how to add video to your business and make more money with it.
In today's photo market you have to stay ahead of the curve and learn the techniques and tools that will keep you in the game. It is my goal to feature guest speakers that are leading the way in our industry.
Most of us own DSLR's that have HD video capabilities, but few of us are using these features to their potential. Many of today's clients are requesting something unique and by "fusing" stills with video, you can produce a high end product that will generate buzz and separate you from the rest. Whether you shoot commercial, weddings, portraits, headshots, or landscapes you will benefit from learning Fusion.
The Bui Brothers will be our guest speakers and they are a couple of guys you should get to know. We will try to cover a lot in a short amount of time. From learning how to incorporate video, editing tips, lighting tips and how to produce a high end product that your clients will be raving about. There will be a hands on demo and if there is time we will also talk a little about WPPI (http://www.wppionline.com) in Vegas and how to make the most of your experience there next month if you are going.
What is Fusion?
Simply put, photo fusion is when a photographer or videographer uses both photographs and video to make a video.
