Long Beach Chess Club: Sunday Tabling Pop-Ups

Who’s Welcome:
Anyone who loves chess — from absolute beginners to seasoned players. All ages, all ratings. No membership fees.
Very family friendly

What to Expect:
• A friendly gathering for casual, and friendly games of chess.
• Players often bring their own boards & clocks, but don’t worry if you can’t — there’s usually extra gear floating around.
• A welcoming and super fun atmosphere where people help one another, analyze games, and just enjoy chess together.

When & Where:
• Sundays at 4:00 pm — inside WholeFoods at the Breakwater, at 2nd & PCH,

Cost:
Free to play
Free Parking across the street, pay to park structure.

Tips / Notes:
• Bring your own chess set & clock if you have them
• This is a casual meetup — don’t stress about your rating or experience

• Since this event is held outside (in a beautiful plaza), you may want to bring a jacket if it is expected to be cold.
