LA Chess Social X Highland Park Chess Club October Special
Details
Presenting
Our October Chess Double Feature
LA Chess Social X Highland Park Chess Club
Two of LA's beloved social chess clubs are teaming up for a huge collaboration!
In a few weeks, we are coming together for a lovely evening of casual/competitive chess, live music, costume contest and more!
We are excited to be working with the fabulous bar "The Goldfish", for the first time! This space will have live music, lively games of casual and competitive chess, as well as award winning Thai food and drinks. This establishment also has rooms with billiards tables and an arcade if one desires a break between games.
Due to the popularity of higher-level chess theory lectures, we will be welcoming back International Master Levon Altounian! He will be conducting a lecture, before the main event, between 7:00pm and 7:50pm. (Due to weather, we are doing all of the activities at the Goldfish, as Belle’s might be too wet)
