Alamere Falls and Wild Flowers - Easy Backpacking or Hiking @Point Reyes

This is mainly an overnight backpacking trip and if anyone wants to tag along for day hike, just message me. Usually we end up with a group of day hikers, Day hikers will hike back on their own.

Then join for an unforgettable hike to the breathtaking Alamere Falls, one of the Bay Area's hidden natural gems. This isn't just any waterfall - it's a stunning 40-foot tidefall that cascades directly into the Pacific Ocean, one of only two such waterfalls in California!

Our adventure begins with a scenic hike through the diverse landscapes of Point Reyes National Seashore. We'll traverse lush forests, meadows teeming with wildlife, and serene coastal trails, culminating in the grand spectacle of Alamere Falls.

It's an epic campsite and campground has potable water, toilets and trash cans:). We will camp just off the beach and a mile north of the falls.

Please respond to all the questions when you RSVP and I'll shortlist people for lottery based on who all meet the pre-reqs. Will reach out to shortlisted people with next steps. Your spot is confirmed after you confirm via venmo/zelle and there's no refund unless the trip is cancelled, so please commit accordingly. If someone can't confirm/pay within a couple of days, they will be back to No Go/WL. Same for anyone who hasn't provided the requisite level of details. Please be specific if you can only go with a carpool.

• Trail: ~11+ miles r/t or 13 miles r/t option, ~200'+ elevation gain
• Plan: Over night backpacking, exploring water falls, tide pools, and bonfire
• Cost: $20 pp for 1 night
• Carpool: based on confirmed people and carpool availability
• Trip confirmation: Your participation is confirmed after you have answered the pre-req questions, made the payment, and get a confirmation from me
