Want to move (slightly) beyond just hiking into scrambling? Want to do something that I'm 99% sure no one else has done before (explained below)?

Strawberry Peak is a good intro to clambering over rocks. I've done this about 5 times so I know the way.

While this is called the "Mountaineer's Route", if you're fit and not that afraid of heights you can do this. See my writeup here:

You can find plenty of videos and reports online. Bear in mind this is NOT the route that starts at Red Box. We'll return that way, but we'll start at Colby Canyon. We'll hike at a slow to moderate pace.

So, what's the new thing no one (or almost no one) has done before? I might actually bring my bike (which I'll expect you to pass up to me at key points). You can bring your bike too. I have trouble seeing anyone else crazy enough to carry their bike up this so they can bike down.

As usual, anyone who signs up goes on a waiting list. To get off it, leave a comment or send me a DM.
