Questing at Boda Borg

Been stuck at home for too long? Haven't used your sharp thinking skills for a while because of Netflix and Disney plus during covid? Bored on a Sunday morning?

Well, lets go Questing at Boda Borg and take that rust of our body and mind!

To those who may not know what this is, read on. To those that do, come join us!

What is Questing? What is Boda Borg?
Boda Borg is a company down in Malden that offers a different approach to "Escape Room" style games. Instead of trying to "escape" a room, as a team you are simply trying to solve the problems of a "quest". For instance, a quest could consist of 3 rooms, each with let's say 2 problems to solve. If you solve the 2 problems in room 1, you advance to room 2. If you dont, you leave the room and get to retry from start. If you are in room 2 or 3 and fail to solve the problem of that room, you have to begin in room 1 again! If you solve all the problems in room 2 and 3, you can say that you solved this quest!
And they have multiple quests at their facility! So, you can pick and choose which ones you want !

How long is this going to take?
They have 2 options - a 2 hour questing or 4 hours.
Since this is a meetup group, I am thinking we can do a 2 hour one for now.

Is there a cost?
Yes. Boda borg charges people. Since we are doing the 2 hour questing, it will be 24$ a person.
This meetup group is not going to charge.

What about covid stuff?
This is what Boda Borg has on their site: We ask anyone not fully vaccinated to wear a mask while at Boda Borg. We continue to sanitize all Quests daily, and we are moving gradually towards our pre-COVID capacity.
I like to read that statement as "We are doing our best to make you feel comfortable and safe. You can take your own precautions in addition if you want. More importantly, know that we are starting to see more people come in. So, right now, it's less people. In future, we might be packed!". This is naturally my interpretation only.

Doing anything afterwards?
Maybe. It will be 1 PM by the time we are done, so depending upon how people are feeling, we could do lunch in the neighbourhood or some place!
