📍 The Animal Foundation — 655 N Mojave Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89101
⏰ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (last patient seen at 1:00 pm sharp)
Thanks to the generous support of Gaudin Ford, we're offering FREE vaccines and microchips for dogs and cats while supplies last. Vaccines include Rabies (dogs and cats), FVRCP (cats), and DaPP (dogs).
This event is first come, first served, and we expect a large turnout—arrive early and be prepared to wait in line.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
• Dogs must be on a leash
• Cats must be in a secure carrier
All vaccines for this event are provided through Petco Love.
Why Vaccines and Microchips Matter:
MICROCHIPS
Most pets who enter the shelter don't make it back home because they don't have an up-to-date microchip. A microchip is a tiny device placed under your pet's skin that carries your contact information. If your pet ever gets lost, shelters and veterinary clinics can scan the chip to reunite you quickly and safely.
RABIES VACCINES (Dogs & Cats)
Rabies is a fatal virus that affects the brain and nervous system. It can spread from animals to people through bites or scratches, making it one of the most dangerous diseases in the world. Vaccinating your pet not only keeps them safe but also protects your family and community.
FVRCP (Cats)
This "core" cat vaccine protects against three serious diseases: Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia. These illnesses cause severe respiratory infections, painful mouth ulcers, and even life-threatening complications in kittens. Vaccination is the best way to keep your cat healthy and prevent outbreaks.
DaPP (Dogs)
This essential vaccine protects against Distemper, Adenovirus (hepatitis), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These diseases can cause lasting damage to a dog's lungs, liver, intestines, and nervous system—and parvovirus, in particular, is often deadly to puppies. Vaccination is the most effective way to stop these highly contagious illnesses from spreading.
Don't miss this chance to safeguard your best friend—come early, beat the crowd, and give your pet the protection they need to stay healthy and safe for years to come!
