Valley of Fire: Take Two! 🔥🏜️🥾
Details
Our first trip to the Valley of Fire 🔥 in January was so successful, we’re doing it again!
This time we’ll meet outside of the Valley of Fire Visitors Center: 29450 Valley of Fire Hwy, Overton, NV 89040. We will be there at 8am for a meet and greet with everyone. Give people a chance to park, get settled, use the restrooms & then we will head out to hike around 8:30am.
Hikes to consider:
White Domes Trail (1.1 miles): A popular loop featuring a small slot canyon, varied scenery, and an old movie set.
Mouse’s Tank (0.7–0.8 miles): A short, sandy trail to a natural water basin with numerous petroglyphs.
Elephant Rock (0.25 miles): A quick, easy walk to a prominent rock formation shaped like an elephant.
Rainbow Vista (1 mile): Offers panoramic, bright views of the surrounding, colorful sandstone landscapes.
Park entry is $10/car and if we carpool over then let's share entry and gas fees for drivers.
If you are interested in carpooling, you can message Madison directly. She has two spots available in her car. Other people willing to drive and carpool, please comment below.
Make sure to bring WATER, 💦 snacks and wear appropriate hiking attire 🥾
It’s going to be a HOT 🔥 day so be prepared to sweat. 😅
