What we’re about
The Las Vegas Green Community meetup is comprised of citizens in Nevada who champion a vision for sustainability that everyone can be a part of and that benefits everyone in our region.
We welcome our members to contact us if you have an event you would like to post.
Our vision for the future incorporates all sectors of green tech and sustainability. We promote solar and wind power, electric vehicles, green education, urban gardens, CSAs, greenhouses, which can reduce water use by up to 95% compared to field crops, improving health with plant-based nutrition, local food sources, community organizing, fundraising, green all-electric buildings, veganism, nonviolent protests, and aligned progressive causes. We support a community, and world without racism, sexism, heterosexism, xenophobia or speciesism.
We would like to cooperate with the other green leaders in the Las Vegas area to raise awareness and further grow the community together.
Meetup has added a fundraiser section. We do not expect members to donate.
