LVMC Presents: Climbing Grand Teton with Joel Brewster & Monica Hughes

The Grand Teton is highly coveted peak. It is very dramatic looking peak and is the crown jewel of Teton National Park. It has over 6500' of prominence and, at 13,775', narrowly misses being the highest point in Wyoming, being only 35 lower than Gannett Peak! The easiest route, the Owens-Spalding, is rated as 5.4 for the technical section, which covers the final 600' vertical to the summit.

Come join Joel Brewster and Monica Hughes as they detail their journey to the summit of this magnificent peak!

LVMC in-person presentations are held in the community meeting room at REI in Boca Park at 7 pm, the 4th Wednesday of each month.

The club will provide snacks and water.
