3-DAY TRIP: Ruby Dome (July 4 weekend)

Details
This is a trip to summit Ruby Dome, the highest peak in Elko County.
Ruby Dome is a beautiful peak with over 4,000 of prominence in northeastern Nevada, near the city of Elko. It's on many peak lists, including LVMC's Classic 50 Peaks List.
The plan is-
- Thursday evening, leave Las Vegas and camp somewhere enroute
- Friday - continue heading north, backpack in to Griswold Lake
- Saturday - summit Ruby Dome and return to camp at Griswold Lake
- Sunday - break camp and hike out
For those who want a shorter backpack, breaking camp and hiking out on Saturday is another option.
I have done Ruby Dome twice before, so this is not exploratory.
Total Distance: 3.5 miles Friday, 5.5 miles Saturday, 3.5 miles Sunday
Total Elevation Gain: 3,000' Friday, 2,200' Saturday
Altitude: 6,300' - 11,387'
Terrain Description: Trail to Griswold Lake and beyond, some class 2 towards the summit.
Approximate Hiking Time: 4.5 hours Friday, 5 hours Saturday, 3 hours Sunday
