DAY HIKE: Mastodon Peak

This a day hike in Joshua Tree National Park. This trip is meant to coordinate with the group LVMC camping trip to Joshua Tree.

Mastodon Peak is on the Zdon Desert Peak list, and is an easy peak. It follows a three mile loop trail, with a quick class 2-3 scramble to the summit.
