LVMC Presents: Mount Baker (and others) with Joel Brewster

Join us as Joel Brewster presents a recent LVMC trip to climb Mount Baker in Washington, and some other peaks along the journey. Mount Baker is a very prominent glaciated peak in northern Washington. It is third highest peak in WA, and has the claim to the highest average snowfall in the lower 48 states averaging about 50 feet of snow annually, with a record snowfall of almost 100 feet one year!

Also, annual club elections and a few changes to our bylaws will be voted on at this meeting. Come out and make your voice heard. We also take nominations for board positions right up until the vote. It is great way to get engaged with the club!

LVMC presentations are held in the community meeting room at REI in Boca Park at 7 pm. LVMC meetings are usually the 4th Wednesday of the month (but the 5th in this case).

The club will provide snacks and water.
