2-Day Trip- Oxford Peak (Idaho) and Logan Peak (Utah)

Details

This is a trip to summit Oxford Peak in southern Idaho, a peak with over 4,000 feet of prominence, and Logan Peak in northern Utah, a peak with almost 3,000' of prominence,

The plan is to leave Las Vegas Friday afternoon, drive about 7 hours north, and camp. We'll get an early start on Saturday to finish the drive and start the hike early. After Oxford Peak, we'll head to near Logan Peak to camp. On Sunday, we'll drive up the road as far as we can or want, and hike the rest of the way (the road goes to the summit). Afterwards we will drive back to Vegas.

This trip will involve a lot of driving, but I enjoy it and am happy to take up to 3 passengers.

I have not hiked in either area, so this trip is exploratory.
