Rock Climb - St George, UT

Rock Climbing at Green Valley Gap – St. George, UT
Join us for a day of climbing at Green Valley Gap in St. George! It looks like it's about 20-30min drive from the Snow Canyon campground. This sandstone canyon offers a wide range of shorter routes rated 5.7 and up. Many routes can be accessed from above to setup top ropes without leading. I have not personally climbed here, but looks like a great crag for all experience levels.

What to Bring

• Required: Harness, helmet
• If you have them: Belay device, quickdraws, dynamic climbing rope
• Plenty of water, snacks, and sun protection

Important Notes

• This is not a guided trip. There are no instructors or professional guides—everyone is responsible for their own safety and decisions while climbing.
• We’ll work together to set up safe anchors and belays, but you should only climb and belay within your personal comfort and experience level.
• If it has rained within the past 24–72 hours, the event will be canceled (sandstone becomes unsafe when wet).

When
We will depart the campground at 9am and plan to arrive at the crag at 9:30am. If you're meeting us at the crag, please let me know so we can keep you in the loop in case of time changes.
