Land Navigation: Map & Compass

The Map & Compass session provides skills necessary to find your location and plot a course across land using a topographic map and a compass. The session will take all day; the morning is classroom instruction, and the afternoon is fieldwork. You will need a suitable compass; I will post the requirements for the compass and anything else you may need to bring. We also have 5 compasses to loan.
