This is a trip to the high point of the Funeral Mountains Wilderness - a Peak with over 1,000 feet of prominence just southeast of Pyramid Peak.
I have not hiked this peak before, so this trip is exploratory.
Total Distance: 8 miles round trip
Total Elevation Gain: 2,300'
Altitude: 3,040 - 5,320
Terrain Description: mostly class 1-2, with some class 3 expected
Approximate Hiking Time: 5.5 hours
