Join Monica Hughes for a presentation on how to think about water quality and safety so you can make confident decisions in planning for and traveling in the backcountry.

Learn how to evaluate water sources, think about potential contamination, and choose appropriate treatment methods for mountain, desert, and high-use environments.

LVMC presentations are held in the community meeting room at REI in Boca Park at 7 pm. LVMC meetings are the 4th Wednesday of the month.

The club will provide snacks and water.
