This is a trip to summit Mount Hillers, a peak with over 10,000 feet of elevation and over 3,000 feet of prominence in southeastern Utah. More peaks will be added to the trip in early June as the weather becomes more predictable.

The plan is to leave Las Vegas on Thursday evening and camp near the junction of I-15 and I-70. On Friday, we'll probably hike a peak on the way to the Mount Hillers area where we will spend Friday night. On Saturday we'll climb Mount Hillers. From there until we return to Vegas on Sunday evening is to-be-determined.

Total Distance: 6 miles round trip (Hillers)
Total Elevation Gain: 3,500' (Hillers)
Altitude: 7,300 - 10,741
Terrain Description: class 1-2 expected
Approximate Hiking Time: 7 hours (Hillers)
