Join us for a challenging and rewarding hike to the summit of Mount Olympus, one of the most iconic peaks in the Salt Lake City area! With incredible views of the Salt Lake Valley and a great workout, this is a favorite for local outdoor enthusiasts.

📍 Meeting Point: Mount Olympus Trailhead – 5789 Wasatch Blvd, Salt Lake City, UT 84121
🥾 Distance: ~7 miles round trip
⛰️ Elevation Gain: ~4,200 feet
🚶‍♂️ Difficulty: Strenuous

What to Expect:

• Steep terrain and switchbacks
• A rocky scramble near the summit
• Panoramic views from the top
• Great company and a sense of accomplishment!

What to Bring:

• Plenty of water (at least 2–3 liters)
• Snacks/lunch
• Good hiking shoes or boots
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
• Layers (weather can change quickly)
• Trekking poles (optional but helpful)

Important Notes:

• This hike is recommended for experienced hikers or those in good physical condition.
• Dogs are allowed on leash but may struggle near the rocky summit section.
• Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can start on time.
