# What’s Blockmeet?
The Global Web3 Community with a local physical footprint where web3 people know they can meet or bump into others and learn something new. That's Blockmeet.
### Blockmeet is a bit different:
It happens worldwide on a specific day.
Community-driven.
Meaningful Web3 network.
At every meetup, you get to learn new things.
### Where and when is it?
We host Blockmeet every Third Saturday of the month. Each city Community hosts their Blockmeet at a suitable time on the Third Saturday of the month.
Venues to be coffee shops/web3 startups that have long table/community-style seating. Preferably in a centrally located area within walking distance of public transport. If it has dedicated parking/ valet, that is ideal.
There are no screens at the venue to keep it casual; this also doesn't make it look preachy.

### Who should attend:
Blockmeet is for every Web3 Builder, Founder, Leader and anyone who believes in playing a role in Web3. It's about giving people focused times and places to hang out, connect with others and learn/share new things.

### What's the format of the Blockmeet:

• Icebreaker - icebreaker activity to introduce everyone
• Chapter Community Leads - Intro themselves + Blockmeet + Foundership
• Curate Challenges - Participants share about their business (each 2 minutes max)
• Chapter-specific session - Blockmeet chapters could have prescheduled panels, protocol /platform-specific talks, 1:1 chats, debates, showcases and learnings
• Global Challenge Solution: All Chapter Community Leads and Foundership Team curate all chapter challenges to seek solutions from the global Blockmeet community. Update the Chapter community solutions for previously shared challenges

We will keep it curated to ensure high-quality folks interested in the technology & economics of Web3. Around 50 participants in every city.
