IOP Beach Day
Details
It's too hot to hike but let's do a beach day at Isle of Palms! We'll hang out, take a short walk (~1 mile), swim, play games, snack, etc.
This event is pending weather. If weather isn't good, we'll reschedule to a different day.
Where to meet: IOP beach entrance via Isle of Palms County Park around 9/9:15AM. I'll post where we're standing when we get there. Around 9:15AM we'll find a spot on the beach to hang. For late arrivals - we'll post a description of where we're sitting so you can find us!
What to bring: beach chair, blanket, snacks/lunch, drinks, etc.
Parking:
- Isle of Palms County Park is free for gold pass holders or $25/car for everyone else. Parking opens at 9AM.
- Street parking - you can park on the street for free if you get lucky and find a spot (all tires must be off the street)
- Metered parking - $3/hour if you can find an open one
