Raven Rocks Hike (hard ~ 5.8 m ~ 1,530ft)
Details
Celebrate Women’s History Month with us on this roller-coaster of a trail where every step upwards or downwards is a celebration of women’s achievements! 🎉
Raven Rocks out-and-back hike is 5.8 miles long and has a vertical gain of 1,530ft. It involves three strenuous ascents. We will cross several creeks, including Raven Rock Hollow. Since this hike is extremely rocky, we recommend wearing sturdy hiking shoes and bringing hiking poles if you need additional support.
We'll move at a moderate pace (around 2 mph) and stop for snacks at the peak to enjoy the views. We recommend bringing enough water (about 2 liters).
Since this hike is also a popular rock climbing destination, the small parking lot fills up quickly. We plan to start the hike at 9 to ensure everyone gets a spot. We also encourage carpooling.
