We are 4,000 strong! To celebrate this milestone we are going to hike our way to the national park(land) of Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park for an epic picnic. Bring a blanket, food to share, lawn games — whatever floats your boat!
During the event we’ll ask people to share a favorite memory of LMH or favorite hike you’ve done with LMH, and a hope for LMH in the future (this is optional). Start thinking now!
This site is very metro accessible (walk from U St or Columbia Heights or take a bus up 16th Street). Parking is available on surrounding streets. There are bikeshare docks at the top and bottom of the 15th Street hill.
