Este grupo nace de una realidad que muchos inmigrantes enfrentamos: llegar a un país nuevo y no saber por dónde empezar para conocer gente. Aquí no existen las conversaciones incómodas ni el típico “¿a qué te dedicas?”—este es un espacio para conocernos de forma natural, divertida y auténtica.
Tus anfitrionas, Arlette y Brenda, también llegaron a Toronto sin una red social y entendemos lo valioso que es encontrar personas con quienes compartir cultura, idioma, risas y experiencias. Por eso creamos este grupo: para ayudarte a formar amistades reales, disfrutar de eventos entretenidos y sentir que sí hay comunidad para ti en esta ciudad.

This group was born from a reality many immigrants face: arriving in a new country and not knowing where to start when it comes to meeting people. Here, there are no awkward conversations or the classic “So, what do you do?”—this is a space to get to know each other in a natural, fun, and authentic way.

Your hosts, Arlette and Brenda, also arrived in Toronto without a social circle, and we understand how meaningful it is to find people with whom you can share culture, language, laughter, and experiences. That’s why we created this group: to help you form real friendships, enjoy engaging events, and feel that there is a community here for you.
