Beginner Spanish Class - by Azren the Language Nerd

Peak Canada Education Consulting

I am offering a bi-weekly Spanish class for people with a beginner level during the months of February and March. We will cover the following: - Fundamental grammar points - Phrases needed to "get by" in Spanish - Most common vocabulary needed to be conversational In the other events that I host, the environment is ideal for conversation & practice. While this is fantastic, I am not able to spend individual time with attendees to build their foundations in the language. That is why I have decided to create this event. Hopefully these classroom-style Meetups will allow you to communicate a wider variety of things at our coffee shop events, pub nights, and of course in real-life scenarios your own individual lives. If these classes are popular, I will look to offer additional class times. Event Cost Option 1: $5 at the door or via e-transfer to azrenr at gmail dot com. Option 2: Reserve your spot for all 5 bi-weekly sessions taking place in Feb & March by e-transferring $25 to azrenr at gmail dot com. Please ensure you RSVP on each individual week if you choose to do this. Funds collected go towards: cost of using the office space and costs to run this Meetup group. How to Find Us To find the building, please get off at the 7th or 8th C-train station, cross the street to 8 Ave across the century garden, and look for a large green building. Proceed to the PEAK Canada office located downstairs. It has a Meetup Sign with Japanese writing posted outside on the pavement. Please google "Westview Heights" if you are lost. You can also send me a message on Meetup if you are having troubles finding the building. Parking If you are driving, there is a parking lot on 9ave and 7st SW on the lefthand side. It is $2 to park there for the whole day and is only a 2 minute walk from the office. About the Organizer My name is Azren, aka "Azren the Language Nerd". Language learning is a huge passion of mine. Casual Spanish Hangout

Waves Coffee House

Come hang out with us! This will be a chance for anyone interested in latino culture and/or the Spanish language to get together. Join us for tasty coffee, yummy pastries, and great conversation :) At our events, there is a mix of all Spanish levels. We have people who just started learning the language, native speakers, and everything in between. We even have people don't speak Spanish at all, but who are simply interested in latino culture. Depending on how many people show up, we will have two separate tables: Table 1: Games to practice/learn some Spanish. Games will be targeted for beginners. Table 2: Free flowing conversation. Have a coffee, speak some Spanish, and hang out :) Event Cost The coffee shop has asked that each person buy at least 1 drink. Apart from that, there is no cost.
