Marvel at the sensory explosion that is a Full Moon hike? Latta Outdoor Adventures is the group where people just like you come to find out what Outdoor Adventures are being offered RIGHT NOW at Latta Nature Preserve! We will keep you posted on all the programs for age 12 to Adult. Some are FREE meet-ups. Some cost a few bucks. Don’t have your own gear? No problem. That’s why we are here. Book a tour with us and let the Outdoor Recreation Specialists at Latta do the heavy lifting, literally. It takes a trained eye to find the quiet magic of Latta Nature Preserve as we head into the awakening months of spring. Fortunately, our volunteers are skilled at finding and teaching on the wonders that make their appearance in the spring. This is a moderate, brisk hike. Be prepared to cover up to 4 miles in two hours. Hike will start no later than 9:05am at a new location each time.

Sign Up HereIt’s time to dip our paddles into the water at Mountain Island Lake. Enjoy a tour of the coves, shorelines, and the spring splendor. Our ACA certified staff are there to make this an enjoyable experience for paddlers of all skill levels. All equipment provided.

This program will include a 1-2 mile hike. Participants should bring a bottle of water and sun protection.
