Day Paddle: Dan River

Paddle along rocky bluffs and shallow shoals. This 4.5-mile paddle takes place on the Dan River near Danbury, NC. This section of the Dan River is a slow-moving river with a few obstacles and riffles to navigate and one small section of Class I rapids. Paddling experience is suggested. Participants meet at Quest Nature Center for group transportation. Program timeline may vary due to river flow rate.
