Details
Hello, dear DevOps and Agile community!
Sunny weather comes with the 21st DevOps & Agile Talk on the 19th of March - this time event is brought by Accenture, Arvato, and Workland offices - save the date!
This time we welcome two amazing speakers:
Rūdolfs Brakšs (Scrum master @ Giraffe360) - a confident Agile implementation specialist with a focus on Agile patterns and environments as part of IT business strategies.
Aleksei Larkov (CEO of SIA DevSkill) - Worked as System Administrator, Full Stack Developer, DevOps and AWS Cloud Engineer. Owner and CEO of SIA DevSkill micro IT business from 2021.
Please make sure that you arrive early because we’ll be checking in people at the counter. There’s simply no other way to forecast how much beer and pizzas we should buy 😊.
We will be happy if you join us on-site, but for those who can't make it - you are welcome to watch the live stream on our YouTube channel.
And for async digital communications please use the Techies of Baltics Slack channels at https://devops.lv/slack/
As usual, we will have two presentations:
Agile in Flames: The Unspoken DevOps Smirk:
Addressing the friction between Agile and DevOps and breaking down the “why” behind the common shenanigans that occur along the way by Rūdolfs Brakšs (Scrum master @ Giraffe360)
Building a real-world serverless app in AWS:
In the words of our speaker Aleksei Larkov (CEO of SIA DevSkill) himself:
"I'm running my business apps in AWS. The "Pay-as-you-go" approach works for me. I was surprised by how easy it is to build a serverless application in AWS nowadays. My custom "Timesheet" application works in a completely serverless model and costs me 0$ per month. I'll break it down into building blocks and share my experience with you."
See you at the Workland! Check-in at 18:30, and presentations start at 19:00. As always, your presence and active participation make our community vibrant and inspiring. To secure your spot, RSVP on our Meetup.com page. Let's continue our mission of fostering innovation, learning, and collaboration in the ever-evolving landscapes of DevOps, Agile, and technology.
If your plans change, please cancel your registration to free up your spot for others.
See you there!
*Please note that photographs and footage will be taken throughout this event without a warning. These can be used by the Community for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media, or any third-party publication.
