What we’re about
We are not looking for new members at this time. This is an invitation only men's team, started on June 27th, 2012, that is a subgroup of Momentum 4 Men.
Momentum's focus is small group meetings for men to make more and better friends and have a support system in their lives. But if you are a man interested in having more men as friends and for support in meeting your life goals, check out Momentum. The organization as a whole is always open to men joining them.

LAUGHING MEN TEAM CHARTER
What We Are: A group of men dedicated to supporting each other, improving our social and personal connections and becoming better men.
Typical Meeting: We meet every other week on Wednesdays, from 7-9. Sometimes out and about, sometimes at a member's home. Food is always involved, sometimes potluck, sometimes restaurant-style. Everyone takes turns bringing the group up to speed on what's going on in their lives, their wins, what's bothering them, and where they might need guidance or support. Sometimes we go for a walk after dinner.
What's expected of members:
1. Confidentiality. What's said here stays here.
2. Communication. What's going on in your life.
3. Will you be at the meeting? All members are automatically RSVP'd as a YES. If you won't make a meeting, change your RSVP to a NO by 7:00 pm Monday the week of a meeting. If you cancel after 7:00 pm Monday, you supply all of the alcoholic beverages at your next meeting.
4. If you miss a meeting without letting the group know you won't be there, you have to provide the next meal...ALL food and drink!
5. If you miss a meeting, its encouraged that you check in via email or phone so the group knows what's happening in your world. If you miss 2 meetings in a row, which would make 6 weeks between meetings attended, you're required to check-in by email or phone. We don't want anyone isolating, it defeats the purpose of the team!
Joining the Team:
1. Existing members shall bring up the "I have a new possible member" conversation prior to bringing a prospective member to a meeting.
2. Prospective members are considered "visitors" for 4 consecutive meetings. Afterwards the prospective member and existing team members mutually decide how well the team and prospective member might fit and whether or not to make membership permanent.
3. Should a new member join the team, it is with the understanding of a minimum 6 month commitment.
