Next Meetup 8/21: Four Flourishing Programs to Choose From

Hi everyone,

This event marks the opening of the Breathe N Flow Studio in Freeport, NY. It'll be the venue for future meetups. We decided to kick it off with a full days worth of activities. Come for one, or all four of the days activities, see the details below. My focus is on creating more joy, well-being and abundance in ourselves and in the world. These programs approach that by integrating mind-body-spirit practices, and there is something for everyone.

Here is the schedule:

11am-12:15pm A Day Full of Flourishing Fun- Yoga]Vinyasa Yoga Class (FREE)

Vinyasa Yoga focuses on linking breathe with movement to create a moving meditation. Come feeling stiff, weak, lethargic or that you would like a fun workout that balances you. Leave feeling open, rejuvenated, stronger and aligned. This all levels class caters to the beginner and challenges the experienced practitioner.

12:30-1pm Laughter Yoga + Meditation ($5)

Laughter is one of the most powerful ways to boost your immune system, energy and happiness. And what?s better than laughing? Laughing in a community! Join other people willing to let go of their daily stresses and reinvigorate your inner child. We'll close with learning a mindfulness meditation used to stimulate the positivity centers of your brain and make you feel more focused and centered.

2-4pm Positive Psychology: The Science of Happiness Workshop ($20)
Learn about the science of happiness, particularly, 5 approaches to increasing your sense of Flourishing. This session will include materials, lecture, partner exercises and personal reflection. Come with a pen, leave with tools for increasing your happiness.

4-5pm IntenSati: A fun, mind-body-spirit transforming practice ($15)
Get ready to sweat. And feel the transformational power of combining positive affirmations with physically moving your body. In this unique workout we will, create ?sati? mindfulness by linking movement with positive affirmations. Burn calories and stress, reaffirm your strength and welcome in abundance? All choreographed to invigorating music.
