Laughy Place Improv — Live Community Showcase Performance
Details
### Laughy Place Improv presents a live improv comedy show featuring performers from our local improv community.
### Come and laugh with our amateur performers who have been participating in our ongoing Laughy Place Improv meetups!
Everything you’ll see is created on the spot — no scripts, no pre-planned scenes — just quick thinking, playful collaboration, and audience-inspired moments that only happen once.
This is a community improv showcase, where the emphasis is on curiosity, connecting with our community, and having fun together — not polished perfection. Some scenes will soar, some will surprise us, and that’s part of the joy of live improv.
If you’ve never seen improv before, this is a welcoming place to start. If you have seen improv before, think of this as a chance to enjoy the energy of people learning, experimenting, and supporting one another on stage.
No audience participation is required unless you’d like to offer a suggestion. Come as you are, bring a sense of play, and enjoy the ride.
Doors open at 6:45
Show starts at 7:00
The $5 ticket helps cover space costs and supports the continued growth of our community improv program.
Free street parking around the theater, or park in Shirlington Village and walk seven minutes on a paved pedestrian trail.
Open invitation to gather at Astro Beer Hall (4001 Campbell Ave) after the show.
