What we’re about
Do you dream of conversations where you can show up just as you are — messy feelings, tricky situations, and all — and still feel heard?
Empathy Lab is a practice group for anyone wanting to explore Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in English — not just as a theory, but as something we live in our everyday relationships.
We'll practice listening with care, expressing ourselves honestly (even when it's hard), and finding what connects us underneath it all.
We're not here to get it right — we're here to explore together.
Led by fellow explorers, not experts.
Come curious. Leave connected.

Ever wished conversations felt easier—less frustrating, more real, and actually connecting?
Join us for the first-ever Empathy Lab, a playful, heart-centered space to practice Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in real life. We'll listen, share, stumble, and learn together—because connection is something we practice, not just something we hope for.
This is a practice group, so having a basic knowledge of NVC will be helpful. If you're new to it (or need a refresher), check out this short intro video.
No lectures, no perfection—just fellow explorers, real conversations, and maybe a little laughter along the way.
Come curious. Leave connected.
💡 Contribution: To help cover group costs (Meetup fees, room rental, etc.), a contribution is requested—no set amount, just what feels right for you.
🍪 Break & Snacks: We’ll take a break during the session, so feel free to bring a snack to share! Sharing food is optional, but always adds to the warmth.
