Please feel free to join the Meetup trips if you like to meet new people and do outdoor activities together. We organise hiking trips, via ferrata, canyoning, bouldering, or ski trips. Also please feel free to suggest any other ideas if you have a great idea for any kind of outdoor activity :)

Join us for a rejuvenating weekend with fresh mountain air and inner stillness. We will combine yoga practices with guided snowshoe hikes through the winter landscapes above Lake Brienz, a perfect balance of activity and rest. This retreat offers space to breathe, move, and restore.
Nestled high above the turquoise Lake Brienz, the region is known for its breathtaking views and the Giessbach Waterfalls.
Our home for the weekend is the Schweibenalp Center of Unity, a renowned spiritual and ecological community. Schweibenalp offers a peaceful and supportive atmosphere, wholesome vegetarian cuisine, and cozy accommodation designed to nurture both body and soul. The center’s focus on consciousness, sustainability, and connection makes it a truly special place to unwind and reconnect.
This trip is led by Céline Kahn, international mountain leader, and Giada Rocca, yoga instructor.
Event description
Friday - Arrival & Grounding
Arrive at Schweibenalp in the afternoon and settle into your cozy room, surrounded by forest and mountain views. We’ll begin the weekend with a welcome circle and gentle yoga session, offering a chance to arrive fully, unwind from the week, and connect with the group. Dinner and overnight stay at Schweibenalp.
Saturday - Summit & Stillness
After a nourishing breakfast, we’ll take the bus from Bramisegg to Axalp (departure 08:53) and ride the chairlift up to Windegg. From there, we’ll set out on a snowshoe hike to Axalphoren (2320 m), where the open ridge rewards us with gorgeous views over Lake Brienz and the surrounding peaks. After returning via chairlift and bus, we’ll enjoy an evening yoga session to stretch, unwind, and integrate the day’s experiences, followed by dinner and overnight stay at Schweibenalp.

Sunday - Flow & Farewell
We’ll start the day with a morning yoga session to awaken body and mind, followed by a wholesome breakfast. Our final snowshoe hike departs directly from Schweibenalp, following the Giessbach stream through the forest and into the peaceful Plangäu valley. We’ll conclude with a closing circle and warm goodbyes before departure.
Technical information
The duration of the snowshoe hike will depend on the group’s motivation and fitness level. The route is flexible, and we can adjust or turn back at any time to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Requirements
To join this event, you need to be a fit hiker. No previous yoga or snowshoeing experience needed.
Access
If you are traveling from Lausanne by public transport, we recommend you the following:
- Friday: Lausanne 13:40 - 16:53 Brienzerberg, Bramisegg (via Bern, Interlaken and Brienz) - The Schweibenalp center is approx. 800m (approx. 15 min walk) from the Bramisegg stop.
- Sunday: Brienzerberg, Bramisegg 15:58 - 19:20 Lausanne (via Brienz, Interlaken and Bern) - depending on the time the event finishes
If you are traveling by car, you can park at Schweibenalp.
Take the highway exit A8 Brienz / Giessbach / Axalp, then drive up the mountain in the direction of Axalp until you reach the restaurant “Bramisegg”. Take the side road on the right for about 800m through the forest. Stay right at the fork in the road.

Surrounded by 4000m peaks, Val d’Anniviers is a gorgeous and culturally rich alpine valley, one of the seven large transverse valleys in Valais, skirted by the “Great Crown” which includes Weisshorn, Bishorn, Zinalrothorn, Obergabelhorn, Matterhorn and Dent Blanche.
This trip is led by Celine Kahn, international mountain leader.

Friday
Arrival in Zinal in the evening. Dinner is possible if you arrive early enough. Night at Auberge Alpina.
Saturday - Glacial cave
Lying a few kilometres away from the village, the Zinal glacier originates from the meeting-point of 3 glaciers: Grand Cornier, Durand and Mountet glaciers.
Snowshoeing while being surrounded by the famous and stunning “Great Crown”, all the way to the Zinal glacier and its glacial cave. Picnic at the cave and return to Zinal. Dinner and night at Auberge Alpina.

Sunday - Bella Vouarda
Breakfast at Auberge Alpina and bus to St-Luc. Snowshoeing above St-Luc, all the way to the charming Weisshorn Hotel (2337m), with its breathtaking views of the Great Crown. Return to St-Luc in the afternoon where you can catch a bus to go home. Depending on the size and motivation of the group, we might be able to take the funicular from St-Luc in order so save some uphill walking and therefore be able to walk all the way to Lake Touno at 2660m.

Join us for the 5th edition of the Jungfrau Winter Sports Weekend at the charming Mountain Hostel in Gimmelwald, in the gorgeous Lauterbrunnen valley. A tremendous place with the most beautiful views of the Bernese Oberland 4000ers.
Event description
We all meet at the Mountain Hostel in Gimmelwald on Friday evening for a fun, social and active weekend in the Jungfrau region!
The hostel is located within the Jungfrau ski resort. Two valleys, three mountain ranges and 211 kilometres of perfectly prepared pistes. The winter paradise with the backdrop of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau offers skiers and snowboarders everything their hearts desire: gentle slopes, steep drops, snow and fun parks, racing tracks and powder parties. Mürren-Schilthorn area, where the hostel is, has a lot of pleasure runs and steep slopes for skiers, adrenaline rushes for snowboarders and magical snow for winter hikers.
We will be all together for breakfasts, dinners, drinks, guitar playing around the campfire, and during the day you're free to do whatever you feel like doing: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, winter hiking, chilling at the pool or spa in Mürren... There is something for every taste!
Jochem Schut, ski instructor, will be there all weekend for private ski lessons on Saturday or Sunday, for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers. Here are the prices for private ski lessons:
- 1-hour lesson: CHF 50 for 1 person or CHF 80 for 2 persons
- 2-hour lesson: CHF 90 for 1 person or CHF 140 for 2 persons

Join us for a two-day snowshoeing adventure in the heart of the Berner Oberland! We’ll hike from Sulwald up to the cozy Lobhornhütte and spend the night surrounded by snowy peaks. The next day, we’ll summit Gälbe Schopf and enjoy stunning views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau before heading back. A true winter escape with great company and mountain vibes!

Saturday - Lobhornhütte 1955m
We meet at Isenfluh (Luftseilbahn) just before 11:00 and take the cable car together to Sulwald. From there, we hike through the forest and all the way up to Lobhornhütte, and spend some time training with the avalanche equipment for those who need an introduction or a refresher. Dinner and night at Lobhornhütte.

Sunday - Gälbe Schopf 2200m
Breakfast at Lobhornhütte and hike up to our summit, the Gälbe Schopf, this time off-trail. The summit offers amazing views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. After enjoying the views, we hike back down to Sulwald, where you can decide if you want to take the cable car back down, or rent a sled and sled to Isenfluh!
