Bicycle Caravan Around ASU

Join us for an energetic and empowering ride around Arizona State University as we pedal for democracy! The Bicycle Caravan Around ASU is more than just a bike ride—it’s a moving statement against fascism and political apathy. Together, we’ll make our voices (and wheels) heard, showing that young voters are the driving force behind protecting freedom, equality, and truth in America.
Decorate your bikes with positive, pro-democracy messages, flags, or signs. Wear your most expressive gear, and bring your friends. Along the route, we’ll have live hip-hop music in the caravan.
This event is all about fun, unity, and awareness—because the future belongs to those who show up for it. Let’s prove that young people care, vote, and lead the way toward a better future.
We will meet at the parking lot behind Chick-fil-A, also behind CVS. Easy access from Maple Ave.
Caravan leader, Ken, will be in Black reflective gear with Trike and mobile DJ unit. We will start at 3:30 PM, approximately 2.5 miles
Target Audience: Young, first-time, and untapped voters. Optionally use signage to appeal to college students, i.e. impact of closure of Dept. of Education, increased tuition, job market constraints for upcoming graduates, misleading campaigns from MAGA targeting innocent students, indepence from parent influence, right wing propaganda and anti-woke demands forced on colleges, etc.
Also feel free to wear your ASU gear as well, cheering on the upcoming game against Iowa State on Nov 1 (away game).

You can ride on a Tempe sidewalk if there is no bike lane available or if the street's speed limit is over 25 mph. When riding on a sidewalk, you must yield to pedestrians and ride with the flow of traffic. Minors can ride on sidewalks at all times with a parent or guardian.
