Vegan Spirituality & No Meat & Mingle Vegan Potluck/NewYears Party
Hosted by Anonymous Vegans Exposed!
Details
Join the "No Meat & Mingle" and "Vegan Spirituality" Communities to bring in the New Year vegan style! Let's clarify our intentions for 2017 and celebrate together! The potluck starts at 8PM. At 9:30PM, everyone will be invited to write what they want to give and what they want to receive in 2017 and express each with a word or phrase aloud to the group. Participants are invited to hold their words and intentions as the clock strikes midnight.
After midnight, we will toast with champagne. Other than that, we will not be drinking alcohol at this event to respect the preferences of the hostess.
**** Please bring a prepared, ready to serve vegan dish to share so that you may participate. Please do not come to this event if you do not have a prepared, ready to serve, vegan dish to share. Vegan means no meat, fish, eggs, dairy or honey- No animal products at all). If everyone does not bring a prepared dish to serve at least 10 people, there may not be enough food. The $3.00 donation option discussed below is if you forget your own reusable plate and utensils. There is no donation option if you do not bring a prepared dish. Thank you.****
Please note that this event is promoted in various places so the actual turn out is likely to be bigger than would appear from the RSVP's here.
This is a free event if you bring your own reusable plate/bowl, eating utensils and serving utensils. Donations are welcome and not required. To help you to remember to bring your own reusable plates consider donating $3.00 or more if you forget. Funds will be used to pay for Meetup dues, domain name registration, supply and other costs for future potlucks.
