Worker Cooperatve Study Group on Zoom

Online event

Please visit our website at http://www.workercooperatives.org

The Worker Cooperative Study Group has been meeting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7 PM for over a year. We have been developing a worker cooperative project in coalition with Downtown Crenshaw Rising (downtowncrenshaw.com) and Arizmendi Association of Cooperatives (Arizmendi.coop).

Since this project has moved to a training schedule, we are asking any new people interested in joining this project to register for an onboarding and orientation process so new members can learn about the work we have done so far and not disrupt our progress.

This orientation session is scheduled for the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 PM. The registration link for session is below:https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYkcuuppjgoHNQ-m2yDMRkIUZH149Ogk6Mq

Please note that the jitsi link that was previously used for this orientation session will no longer be valid.

Two types of people emerge in the study group: 1. potential worker-owners and 2. those who wish to support the creation of worker cooperatives, learn to be worker cooperative developers or technical support resources, but are not going to be worker owners of the co-ops we develop.

As we move through this process we will develop the founding cohort of worker cooperatives as well as a group of worker cooperative developers and technical support personnel, as well as developing institutions: worker cooperatives plus a worker cooperative developer and business services hub.
