Camp Creek Greenway Paved Trail at Lilburn City Park

UPDATE: Hey Everyone, we have a lot of people signed up for this hike, and need to update you on the parking and construction (thanks Angie!).

🥾Second, there are three lots near our meeting spot. Public parking is located at Lilburn City Park (76 Main Street), across Main Street in the Greenway parking lot next to the railroad tracks, as well as in the parking lot on Railroad Avenue. Parking is also available in designated spaces on Main Street, Railroad Avenue, and Lula Street.
🥾 There is construction going on, so we will need to be very respectful of those areas and other walkers/hikers. More info when we arrive.

"Discover this 5.1-mile out-and-back trail near Lilburn, Georgia. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 35 min to complete. This is a popular trail for road biking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. This is a completely paved trail with some boardwalk sections. "

We plan to hike to hike each of the greenway extensions and then Lions park along the greenway and back. Total is 5.1 miles.

Really fun, easy paved trail. We will be near 1910 Public House when we complete the trail as an option for lunch.

Bring: Water and snacks.

We will start promptly at 9:00 am.

Beginning hikers are more than welcome in our group. However, if you have not walked for hours-long durations or kept up a fast pace, please make sure you do some park walks to prep in advance for our hikes. If you aren’t ready, you will cause the whole group to slow down or stop.

This group is for adults ages 18 and up only. Each attendee must RSVP on Meetup and can bring one adult 18+ guest.
