Blood Mountain/Preachers Rock

Let's Take a Hike to Blood Mountain! We will hike to Blood Mountain via the Byron Reece Trail. This is a difficult out-and-back hike of about 4 miles, with a steep incline. The reward is spectacular views from Blood Mountain!

We will meet at the Byron Reece Trailhead. There are no bathrooms at the parking lot. Plan accordingly. Here is the AllTrails link for the trail:

After we complete Blood Mountain, there is an optional hike at Preacher's Rock. This is a short 2-mile out and back, with a steep climb. The trailhead is located about 15 miles from the Bryron Reece Trailhead.
