Suwanee Greenway Evening Walk- July 17

Trail Description:
Suwanee Greenway is a beautiful pathway that has a variety of scenery, it is paved, shaded by trees that line the path with very little elevation. Great for an afternoon hike!
Difficulty Level : Easy (paved or smooth trail with little elevation gain)
Distance: About 4 miles. There is an potential to add an additional 2-3 miles at the end of the hike, this is absolutely optional based on time and and weather, and only for those that are not done after the 4 miles!
Estimated Duration: 1.5 hours (3 Miles per Hour)
Pace: About 2.5 to 3 miles per hour, please let the organizer know if you think you'll have a hard time otherwise please be able to keep up with the group.

Event Guidelines
We will begin promptly at the listed time. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can start together.
This group is for people ages 18 and over who are Meetup members, and each person may bring up to one adult guest.
Bring water, snacks, and any gear you may need (e.g., trekking poles, flashlight, rain gear).
We welcome beginners. But if you are new to hiking or unsure if you can maintain the listed pace and duration, please do some prep walks in advance. Hikers who cannot keep pace may slow down or stop the group.
If you decide to leave the hike for any reason, we request that you let someone in the group know.
