Nomad Nirvana Book Club Introduction <3
Slow Pour Brewing Company, 407 North Clayton Street, Lawrenceville, GA, USWelcome to the New Year and welcome to Nomad Nirvana Book Club!
Join us at Slow Pour Brewing for our inaugural meeting. Nonalc options available here :)
*Allow notifications from this event in case of location updates*Our first book will be...The Reformatory by the great Tananarive Due!
At this first meeting we'll focus on introductions, talk a bit about the book we're about to dive into, and folks ordering from Nomad Nirvana will pick up their book orders.
If you plan to purchase from us, please pre-order online. I might not be able to have additional copies available at the event apart from those filling pre-orders, so don't chance it!
Book Club is always free!
**But buying from us is a big help **in allowing us to sustain and build things like this, and it's SUPER appreciated. All Book Club books are $2 off typical sticker price and everyone who purchases gets a free sticker.Additional Book Club Deets:
- Timing: We’ll meet once a month on Saturdays from 1-2:30 PM
- Location: Will move around to give the greatest number of people the opportunity to make it in-person at some point, regardless of where they live. I will also update the event with a Zoom link as the date approaches, for those who are joining virtually.
- Format: Our first meeting in February will focus on introductions and book pickups for those purchasing from Nomad Nirvana (purchase options available here).
- Our March meeting will be a debrief on The Reformatory and book pickup for Sunburn.
- Each month will follow in that pattern-debrief on the previous book, pickup for the next book.
- We’ll see if we can stick to that timing—the pace of the group on average will determine meeting/reading pace.
Thank you all again and let's make this community something awesome! Looking forward to meeting you all.
