Long time no see! The summer drained all my energy, but let's get back out there with a super easy bosque walk! There's a small flow of water again!

In May 2022, approximately 34 acres of this section of the bosque caught fire, with the fire leaping across the river before it was finally put out. Years later, the scars are still quite obvious but we'll be seeing LOTS of growth (mostly invasive species) among the burn.

This will be an approximately 3 mile loop through the bosque, crossing through this old scar. We'll be on the lookout for waterfowl, bats, and porcupines!

Let's leave the doggos at home for this one and focus on the local wildlife. Binoculars are always a plus. Consider bringing bug spray, the mosquitos may be out.
