4th of july supper club

as a newbie in seattle (and the usa), i don't have plans for the fourth. in an ideal world, i'd be hosting a big group of friends... but i haven't found my people here yet. so i'm cooking for strangers instead. my aim is simple: you leave the table full of food, joy and new connections, and we raise some money for the NWIRP (Northwest Immigrant Rights Project). hopefully i'll make some new friends too!
date: saturday 4th of july, 2026
time: 6-9pm
location: ballard, seattle (i will share the exact location with you closer to the time)
menu: i will share this closer to the time, but please help me out by letting me know your dietary requirements below.
byob: i will be serving non-alcoholic drinks, but you are welcome to bring something stronger if you'd like.
who's coming: 6 strangers (i'm keeping the numbers low to make sure we all get a chance to get to know each other)
this dinner is free, as the whole point of it is to eat good food with great company and to meet new people. that said, there's no such thing as a completely free meal, so i'd love it if you could donate to the NWIRP (Northwest Immigrant Rights Project), an organisation that provides free legal support to immigrants who can't afford it. given it's a four-course meal, a suggested donation is $30 – but please give what works for you.
