Join us for a free, open-air Qigong, Tai Chi, and other martial arts synchronized group practice session focused on balance, breath, and moving meditation. All levels are welcome.

WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable clothes, water, and an open mind.
Optional for Experienced Practitioners: Jian (Straight Sword), Dao (Saber/Broadsword), and Cane.

You are welcome to join and participate at your own level of ability. Chi Gong and Tai Chi are beginner friendly and do not require equipment.

Smooth Flowing Schedule

  1. Arrive and meet 8:30am. - Start Breathing Attentively, Warmup, Greetings and Introductions.
    2. Start Synchronized Qi Gong Practice @ 8:45am for 5-10 minutes.
    3. Tai Chi Chuan 24 Form Practice Group Twice, 5-10 minutes.
    4. Group Jian (Straight Sword) Practice Group, 5-10 minutes.
    5. Group Dao (Saber/Broadsword), Practice Group, 5-10 minutes.
    6. Group Cane Practice Group, 5-10 minutes.
    7. (Fan Practice Group to be added soon.)

Practice Groups are usually finished by 9:30-10am.

The free online class recordings on the SOHMA Tai Chi Youtube channel are very helpful for learning the Tai Chi Chuan 24 form which is the most commonly practiced form of Tai Chi.
