Chat and Knit Event

Alleviate loneliness and isolation and join LBFE on Tuesday, July 23 from 9:30-11 AM for a Chat and Knit social event! Coffee/tea and light breakfast edibles will be served. This is the beta test for a monthly social event with a different monthly theme. For July, we will be fostering conversations and collaborations around knitting! We welcome everyone from the skilled knitter to the I'm-not-sure-yet potential knitter! Come and share time together and share your knitting knowledge, questions, and curiosity!

LBFE is a nonprofit organization founded in 1959 with a mission to alleviate loneliness and isolation among older persons in Chicago. Our programs, services, volunteers, and staff bring socialization and engagement to older adults aging alone by sharing time and friendship together.
