2023 SoCal VegFest’s Most Beautiful Vegan Cookie Competition

Come join "The Most Beautiful Cookie" Contest at SoCal Vegfest this year. Bake your most gorgeous 100% vegan cookies and submit them for the chance to win! The deadline to enter and pay your registration fee is Wednesday, September 20th, 2023.
Judging
Your work will be judged by four experienced, professional chefs. We ask bakers to challenge themselves to make the prettiest cookies they can, but taste and texture are also just as important in the judging process.
Prizes
First prize, second and third prize will receive official ribbons commemorating their achievement and gift bags valued at $50, $35, and $25 respectively.
Entry Fee
The entry fee is $5.00 per person.
Important Dates & Times
--The deadline to enter and pay your registration fee via Zelle is Wednesday, September 20th, 2023.
(if paying with a check, must be post dated by Saturday Sept 16th)
--Submit a completed Ingredients List Form to jyoti@socalvegfest.org by Thursday, September 21st, 2023 at 11:55pm
--Deliver six (6) baked and decorated cookies of each recipe to the Cookie Competition Check-In Table at the Cooking Demo Booth between 11:00am and 12:15pm on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023.
--Awards Ceremony will begin at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at the Cooking Demo Stage.
Divisions
The competition is open to all ages, with a General Division for at-home bakers and a Professional Division for experienced bakers.
Categories
The two cookie categories you can enter are “Rolled Cookies” and “Drop Cookies.” Rolled Cookies include any cookie that requires rolling flat and cutting out the dough. Drop Cookies include cookies dropped onto the baking sheet in a mound or ball. You can only make one entry into each category.
